AdventHealth Orlando will be providing complete Medical coverage for the 2023 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by CORKCICLE taking place Thursday, Febraury 23 - Sunday, February  26, 2023! We invite you to be part of the Medical Team that will provide pre and post-race support for the runners.

PLEASE NOTE: Members of the Medical Team and Medical Logistics must be willing and able to work a varying range of shifts. You must also be able to stay for the duration of your assigned schedule. 

The following medical volunteers are needed:

  •      Physicians/DO
  •      Resident/Attending
  •      Advanced Practitioner/Physician Assistant
  •      Nurses
  •      Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist
  •      Respiratory Therapist
  •      Paramedics & EMTs
  •      Students - Must be formally enrolled in a college or university level allied health curriculum.
  •      Other Medical Support

Must be United States Board/State Certified and/or State Licensed thru event date.

AdventHealth provides professional liability coverage for all medical volunteers on Race Day. If you are licensed, your license information will be verified prior to the event. 

Students are welcome to apply, but must be formally enrolled in a college or university-level allied health curriculum to be a medical volunteer. All students will be supervised by licensed personnel on race day.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

You will receive the Medical Waiver in your email.  Please submit your completed and hand written signature Medical Volunteer Waiver (All Medical & Logisitics volunteers must complete) to the runDisney Medical Operations Team. NOTE: Please return all 5 pages of the medical waiver. PDF format preferred.

Although every effort will be made to accommodate your selection, the scheduling office reserves the right to schedule volunteers based on event needs, which includes placing volunteers on a waiting list.

Packets will be mailed 3-4 weeks prior to the event and will include your credential and further information needed, including parking and check-in location. 

As a Medical Volunteer you will receive one piece of apparel for the event (apparel sizes are not guaranteed) and one snack per shift (snacks are typically provided at the start of your shift. If you have special dietary needs, please plan accordingly).
